Season 1 of Undone premiered at 29th of September 2019 at Amazon Prime. It follows Alma learning about her time bending abilities and the impact this has on her relationships, the mystery of her father's death, as well as Becca's upcoming wedding.
The story arc in the first season of Undone follows the journey of a young Latinx woman named Alma as she tries to uncover the truth about her father's death and her family's dark secrets. After a near-death experience, Alma discovers she has the ability to see her dead father and, with his help, even time-travel. She uses this power to try to solve the mystery surrounding her father's death.
Throughout the season, Alma travels between different points in time and uncovering more information about her family's past, including her father's involvement in a government cover-up. As she gets closer to the truth, she also grapples with her own personal demons and the consequences of her time-traveling abilities. The season ends in a cliffhanger, leaving open if Alma actually managed to get her father back.
