Camila Diaz is the mother of Alma and Becca.
It is revealed that she and her husband Jacob had troubles the year before he died. According to her he was behaving strangely and was subsequently diagnosed with schizophrenia, but refused to take the meds. Moreover, he began to experiment with Alma. This caused Camila to break into his lab at Halloween, searching for her daughter. During their subsequent argument she broke up with him, telling him to not come home again[1].
Camila has a difficult relationship with Alma and the two often clash. Though she can be harsh and pushy, it comes from a place of love. She is deeply worried about Alma, not wanting her to end up like her father.
She has a much more easy-going relationship with Becca, supporting her during her wedding preparations. She also notices something isn't alright with her and Reed.
Camila is religious, not only regularly going to church but also engaging in the church activities and supporting fellow parish members[2]. She is Mexican[3].
